A little bit about Think Big from Nathans mom... When Nathan was initially diagnosed, assistance was offered to us through this organization due to his cancer diagnosis. We did not feel that it was necessary to utilize it since it's a small organization that is run specifically for Danville families. After Nathan started the high dose regiment and spent many (oh so many) nights inpatient and I was unable to work they offered assistance again. They greatly helped us make ends meet and now I am proud to be able to take part in this event

Nathan at 2 years old was diagnosed with a Wilm's tumor in February of 2016. He underwent 6 weeks of chemo before having a radical nephrectomy. In June 2016 he was having scans where it was discovered that he had over 30 masses in his lungs. This was then confirmed to also be Wilm's and he needed to be put on a high dose relapse regiment. We had many struggles along the way including 4 pneumothorax, a life flight and two central line infections. His last chemotherapy was May 31, 2017. He has since had his port removed and officially considered in remission.
